Encante Entertainment, Inc.

In addition to being a popular college speaker, Marty Essen also runs Encante Entertainment, Inc. Rather that handling dozens of college entertainers, Encante Entertainment represents only carefully selected, exceptional acts. In fact, this school year Encante Entertainment is limiting its roster to just Marty Essen and these three distinctive performers:

Naomi Grossman

Naomi Grossman is a veteran of LA’s legendary Groundlings Sunday Company (whose alumni include Will Ferrell, Phil Hartman, Conan O’Brien, and Lisa Kudrow). Her one-woman show, Carnival Knowledge: Love, Lust, and other Human Oddities, has sold out in Los Angeles, Taos, and London. Most recently, she performed Carnival Knowledge in New York City at the 2011 New York International Fringe Festival. Naomi’s show has an adult theme, and it’s perfect for either your college theater or wherever you would host a comedian.

Steve Weber

Wouldn’t it be cool if Forrest Gump visited your college? Steve Weber has been portraying Forrest Gump since 1996. Steve initially gained fame in TV commercials for Volkswagen and the Bubba Gump Shrimp Company; now he’s bringing a new leadership development program to colleges. Using the wit and wisdom of Forrest Gump, Steve will help students apply the principles of Gumption to figure out their destiny, achieve goals, and develop self-confidence.
