In June 2008, Marty & Deb Essen traveled north to both the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR) and Prudhoe Bay.

Marty Essen wrote an op-ed about the trip, called Arctic Eyewitness. Numerous newspapers picked it up. Here's a link to Arctic_Eyewitness.mht, where it ran on September 14, 2008, as the Sunday Viewpoints cover story in the Buffalo News (Buffalo, NY).
